Location

The estate is located three kilometres from Pelecas village, a typical corfiot village, with white-washed little roads and hidden courtyards, tangled around the slopes of a hill. On the hilltop you will find the “Kaiser’s Observatory”, where Kaiser Wilhelm II would sit and enjoy the most breath-taking view of the island. The sunset there is unique.

At a distance of three to five kilometres from the estate, you will find the island’s most renowned beaches. The closest one (3 km) is Kontogialos, a beach awarded with the European Union’s blue flag, water sports facilities and a beach volley court. Slightly to the north you will find Glyfada which is organized with sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as beach bars where you can enjoy a cocktail watching the sun set before you.

Myrtiotissa is a nudist beach. In his book, Prospero’s Cell, Lawrence Durell wrote that Myrtiotissa is “possibly the most beautiful beach in the world”. Further north, you will find Ermones and Paleokastritsa.
